ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

* The hooded sweatshirts have been ordered and we will notify all who ordered them once they arrive.

* Our big event, Inspiring Women in Medicine: A Night of Storytelling is quickly approaching. Invitations will be in mailboxes in mid-October. The event, featuring dinner and 3 fantastic speakers, will be on Tuesday, November 6th at 6pm in the Patenge Room. Plan on attending and getting a chance to talk to female physicians about the struggles and successes they've had in their time in the medical field. The event is free to all paid members.

 

*Email grondin4@msu.edu if you are interested in walking in the Race for a Cure in Lansing on Saturday, October 21st.

AMWA will be having a fundraising bake sale for our team on Friday the 20th

and we will need members to bring in baked goods!

 

* We have several meetings in the works, including Clinical Screening/Detection and treatment of Breast Cancer, Balancing Medicine and Family, and a discussion with married physicians and their take on interacting together in the field and separate approaches to dealing with female patients
